Code of conduct and privacy statement
As a reminder, all participants are bound by the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics, which applies to all live and in-person events.
Professional conduct expectations
- Use respectful, inclusive and professional language at all times.
- Be mindful of tone in chat messages and when speaking – kindness and courtesy go a long way.
- Respect the time of the presenter and fellow attendees by staying on topic - keep questions clear and relevant to the topic being discussed.
- Avoid dominating discussion time – allow space for others to contribute or ask questions.
- Mute your microphone when not speaking to minimise background noise.
- Avoid multitasking – be present and engaged during the session.
- Except with the Association's prior written approval, you must not, in whole or part, record, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publish or electronically communicate (including by online means) the content.
- Recording or distribution of content is not permitted.
- If you have multiple questions, consider emailing them after the session rather than asking all during the live Q&A.
